Mission
Mission
The primary mission of the Grossmont Union High School District Regional Occupation Program is to serve high school students, and to the extent allowed by law, offer its programs to adults.
Grossmont Union High School District ROP programs:
- prepare students for high skill, high demand, and high wage careers needed in the competitive, rapidly changing 21st Century global economy,
- provide instructors who have worked in the industry and bring relevance, rigor, and real-world applications to the classroom,
- provide a dynamic and seamless learning experience resulting in mastery of career technical and academic knowledge and skills necessary to become productive contributing members of society,
- prepare a diverse population for further education, employment and occupational changes.
The success gained from taking an ROP class enhances self-esteem and creates the confidence to set career goals and work toward them.
