ROP/CTE Site Block Grant for $119,304 was submittted and approved to upgrade and modernize equipment at Mt. Miguel, Granite Hills and Chaparral.

 

CTE Site Block Discrentionary Grant for $404,525 was approved to modernize and upgrade the facilities and equipment at Grossmont, El Cajon, Mount Miguel, El Capitan, Granite Hills, Santana, Valhalla, West Hills and Chaparral.

 

Perkins 131 Application for $469,380 was submitted and approved for fiscal year 2007/2008.  The Carl Perkins 131 funds are allotted to high school programs of study that involve a multiyear sequence of courses that integrates core academic knowledge with technical and occupational knowledge to provide studetns with a parhway to postsecondary education and careers. The funds are used for professional development, to purchase industry standard equipment, provide activities to prepare students for high skill, high wage, or high demand occupations, and encourage applied learning.
